Using global search

Use global search to quickly access a specific group, location, account, report, or issue.

In global search, select the search type, for example, Locations, and enter a search term. The default option is to search by locations.

Enter a minimum of 3 characters to search. The first 10 items that match your search criteria are displayed. If more than 10 items were found, click See all results to open a standard grid with all of the results that matches your search criteria.

Search is performed based on different criteria:
  • Locations: Search is based on location name, address, reference number, and location reference.
  • Accounts: Search is based on account name, location name, account reference, supplier, and data type.

Advanced search is available when you select Records as the search type. For more information about using advanced search, see Finding a record.
