Monthly Data Summary - Social Metrics report

Run the Monthly Data Summary - Social Metrics report to review monthly normalized social metrics for a specific period.

About this task

The Monthly Data Summary - Social Metrics report displays disaggregated social metrics per month. The structure of the report is similar to the standard Monthly Data Summary report, including consolidation tags and reporting percentage calculations.

There are several key differences between this report and the standard Monthly Data Summary report. All normalized records remain disaggregated at a monthly level. If two or more records are captured in the same account for the same period or overlapping period, two or more rows of monthly data are displayed. Keeping the data disaggregated helps with auditing. It also helps you understand the aggregation that is defined at a field level in other areas of reporting in the IBM® Envizi ESG Suite.

All fields within a social metrics account style are available in this report, including text, picklist, and hidden calculated values. Accruals are not available in social metrics monthly normalization.

Use this report to review monthly normalized social metrics for your selected period, and link monthly normalized values to account records. The report is primarily used to:

  • Perform data reconciliation. Review data values and confirm data availability.
  • Perform data health checks. Review all social metrics values and fix discrepancies.
