Provisioning IBM Planning Analytics

Provision a Planning Analytics integration service to make the monthly dataset available in a Planning Analytics environment.

About this task

Note:

The Planning Analytics is available as an integration option if you purchased Planning Analytics module. A maximum of one Planning Analytics integration data service can be configured for each instance of Envizi ESG Suite.

Procedure

  1. As a system administrator, from the main menu, click Admin > Data Flow Automation to open the Data Services grid.
  2. Click Add New Service.
  3. Select Integration as the category.
  4. Select IBM Planning Analytics (Planning) as the data service type.
  5. Set the owner to Envizi.
  6. Assign a name to the data service name.
  7. Click Save.

Results

The data service is created and enabled. Note that a linked data pipeline is automatically created and enabled at the same time.

To use the Planning Analytics integration service, you must set the API connection details from the Manage Connections page.
