Submitting Building Certifications data
After you capture Building Certifications data, the submission of Building Certifications data is similar to how other values are submitted to GRESB. One exception is that existing Building Certifications data might already exist in the GRESB portal, and some of the data might be different from what is in Envizi.
Refresh the GRESB Asset Summary page after you finish capturing Building
Certifications data. Envizi automatically attempts to
match Building Certifications data in Envizi with
data in GRESB, if any exists, based on the certification scheme and level. For certifications in
GRESB that cannot be matched with certifications in Envizi, the GRESB value GRESB Only – Not for submission is displayed in
the corresponding rows in the GRESB Asset Summary page, and the rows are not
synced by API.
Submission scenario where Envizi has the latest Building Certifications data
Review the values in the Current - Envizi and Current - GRESB columns, and check the values in
Envizi that will overwrite the corresponding values
in GRESB after the submission. Data in the rows marked GRESB Only – Not for
submission will not be synced to GRESB. To enable the rows to be submitted, you can either
try to delete the data in the GRESB Portal, or change the data values in GRESB portal to match one
of the Envizi building certifications. Refresh the
dashboard after any changes to see the resynchronized result.
Submission scenario where GRESB has the latest Building Certifications data
There are two options here, where you can either manage building certifications in the GRESB portal without using Envizi, or you can manually set up building certifications in Envizi to match up with the certifications in GRESB.
If you want to manage the certifications outside Envizi, you can disable the building certification fields in the GRESB Asset Summary page, or in the GRESB Group Review page. If you choose to set up the data in Envizi to match up with the GRESB data, then you will have the ability to subsequently update values, for example, floor area, in Envizi through API. Refresh the dashboard after any changes to see the resynchronized result.
Deleting Building Certifications in GRESB
Envizi does not support the deletion of Building Certifications in GRESB through API. To delete Building Certifications in GRESB,log on to the GRESB portal and delete the certifications there.
Alternatively, if you want to reuse the certifications in GRESB and change their attributes, you can sync the certification with GRESB by setting the Envizi certification and level value to match the GRESB values. Refresh the GRESB Asset Summary page to determine whether the Envizi and GRESB certifications match after updating them.
