Location settings

Review the location settings that you can configure in IBM® Envizi ESG Suite.

Administrators can edit location settings. In the Locations grid, select a location and click Actions > Location Settings. Alternatively, right-click a location and select Location Settings.

Building Operation Details
  • Provide details of the main activities undertaken at this location
  • Default Energy Use: Defines default energy use name, this is used there are main incomer meter(s) and sub meters for use in Energy Use across the organization
  • Non Working Day 1: Select the day of week which is the first non working day
  • Non Working Day 2: Select the day of week which is the second non working day
  • Monitoring Solution
  • Exclude HDD/CDD calculation on non-working days
Geographical Position And Climate Details
  • Latitude (in Decimal format)
  • Longitude (in Decimal format)
  • Exclude location from having its region updated by system job based on latitude and longitude
  • Manually manage location region exclusively in the UI: Blocks location country + location region from being updated by bulk data upload
  • HDD Base Temperature: The HDD base temperature to be used when normalizing data based on weather fluctuations
  • CDD Base Temperature: The CDD base temperature to be used when normalizing data based on weather fluctuations
  • Default Heating Degree Days - HDD per annum: If defined then this value is used as the annual Heating Degree Days based on 18 degrees base temperature for normalizing data based on weather fluctuations
  • Default Cooling Degree Days - CDD per annum: If defined then this value is used as the annual Cooling Degree Days based on 18 degrees base temperature for normalizing data based on weather fluctuations

ENERGY STAR Settings for API
  • Energy Star - Year Built (YYYY, defaults to year 2000 if not supplied)
  • Energy Star - Occupancy %
  • Energy Star - Primary Function Required if using Partial Sync, or if there is no up-to-date property use details captured in this location
  • Energy Star - Treatment of other meters in ESPM after API data sync For meters in ESPM that are not associated with an account or meter in Envizi ESG Suite after an API data sync, the setting determines whether the meters are moved to the ESPM 'Not Used in Metrics' list (default behavior), or kept in their existing list, which is either the 'Used to Compute Metrics' list or the 'Not Used in Metrics' list. If different, the location setting overrides the corresponding organization setting
  • Energy Star - Tag Accruals as Estimation in ESPM: If set to Yes, when uploading data from Envizi ESG Suite to ESPM via API, monthly consumption data with accruals is tagged as Estimation in ESPM. If different, the location setting overrides the corresponding organization setting
