GRESB energy performance indicator data sources

Review a table that outlines how IBM® Envizi ESG Suite assigns corresponding data source values to GRESB energy performance indicator fields in the GRESB Asset Summary.

The following table has four sections:

Data availability, which is based solely on the months of data captured or accrued in Envizi.
Whole building reporting, which will populate floor area coverage and maximum floor area based on recorded asset size.
Sub-building space reporting, which uses location settings captured in the Floor Area Coverage pages if available.
Fuels and electricity consumption or production that occur outside of the sub-building space are reported if relevant accounts or meters are explicitly tagged.

In the Envizi data source column, data sources are listed in order of priority. The system assigns the first existing data source in the list.

Whole Building - District Heating & Cooling - Maximum Coverage	If activity data exists, asset size (AC), tagged floor area account.
Whole Building - Electricity - kWh	All kWh energy consumed in the related building space, within the related data type category of electricity.

Whole Building - Electricity - Maximum Coverage	If a reporting period has been defined and no electricity data is available within the period, then the system leaves this field blank. If electricity data exists within the reporting period, asset size (AC), tagged floor area account. If a reporting period has not been defined, regardless of the availability of electricity data, asset size (AC), tagged floor area account.
Shared Services - Fuels - kWh	All kWh energy consumed in the related building space, within the related data type category.
