Mapping account styles
Retrieve quantitative account data from IBM® Envizi ESG Suite that is required in your disclosure responses. Account style mapping enables you to include aggregated social metrics normalized monthly data from Envizi ESG Suite accounts directly into Sustainability Reporting Manager where the data is required.
Before you begin
About this task
You can view aggregated data across a group or organization in the Mapped Account Styles section that is in the side panel on the response page in Sustainability Reporting Manager. You can copy the data and paste it into the fields within the response.
Note: The account style data that is aggregated and displayed is restricted by both a user’s access
level and the group restriction of the disclosure. For example, if the user is a group level user
but the disclosure doesn’t have a group restriction, only accounts that exist in locations within
the user’s group access level are included in the aggregation. Similarly, if the disclosure has a
group restriction but the user has organization level access, only accounts that are contained in
locations within the disclosure’s restricted group are included in the aggregation.
Procedure
- Go to Sustainability Reporting Manager and open the disclosure response that you want to pull in data for.
- Open the side panel to see the Mapped Account Styles section.
- In the Mapped Account Styles section, add account styles or remove existing mapped account styles as required.
- After an account style has been mapped, click the account style name to view the aggregated data.
- Change the reporting period month end and period length as required. By default, the reporting period month end and the period length are set to the period that is defined in the disclosure.
- To investigate the aggregation, run the Monthly Data Summary - Social Metrics report. The aggregation methods for each field are defined at the account style level. If an aggregation method needs to be changed, contact IBM support. For more information about aggregation methods, see Social metrics account styles.
- Click Records to view the underlying records.
- Click Monthly Data to view how the data has been normalized each month.
- To further investigate the records and monthly data, download the data from each grid into an Excel file.
