Programs Overview PowerReport
The Programs Overview PowerReport provides an overview of the expected emissions, energy, and cost savings that are associated with your projects.
You can review actions by status, type, and geography, and make informed decisions based on savings trajectories into the future. The report provides an intensity ranking to help you understand and make decisions on which programs and actions to choose. Select programs that are expected to achieve the highest return on investment based on emissions, energy, and cost savings.
Use the report to:
- See an overview of actions by category, status, type and priorities.
- Rank and approve actions based on financial incentives, energy reduction, and carbon emissions savings.
- Compare actions by geographical location.
- Gain insights into expected future carbon emissions and financial savings.
Savings Performance pages
The Savings Performance section of the PowerReport provides the following insights:
- The Savings Summary pages provide a summary of emission, energy, and cost savings by action status, type, class, and priority.
- The Savings Over Time pages shows projected future costs and emissions savings.
- The Intensity Ranking page shows intensity rankings of ROI based on emissions, energy, and cost savings. From this page, you can see for every one USD of investment, how much CO2e, cost, and energy savings you are expected to achieve for each program. The simple payback for each program is also displayed to give you an insight into when the savings achieved by the program are expected to cover the investment. It helps to review all of the charts on a single page because you might see that a program that provides a high cost saving but it might not produce a high CO2e savings.
Project Details pages
The Project Details section of the PowerReport provides the following details:
- The Project by Geography pages displays all of your actions on a map. You can see where the initiatives are planned to take place or are taking place.
- The Project Explorer pages provide a way of exploring actions without losing sight of related actions.
- The Project Details page lists all of your actions and the details of each action in a table. You can export the table to a CSV file for future analysis.

Prioritizing projects
Prioritize the projects based on the impact to the organization:
- Open the Programs Overview PowerReport.
- Use the companies investment criteria to determine which ones to invest in.
- Filter projects and see how the stack up against the goals.
- Select the reporting period from one year up to 30 years.
- Go to the Savings Summary page. Filter the dashboard to show projects that are awaiting approval.
- Apply the filter tor reduce the list of projects to the set of projects that you want to assess.
- Review the savings over time.
- On the Intensity Ranking tab, compare the projects along several intensity metrics.
