Creating a program

Create a program to group a related set of actions.

About this task

A program is a set of initiatives that are grouped for a common purpose. For example, a facility manager might create an energy conservation program. The program includes two candidate actions, one for the installation of electric vehicle charging stations and a second to switch the lighting system to LED lighting. The program acts as a folder to group the sustainability projects.

By grouping related actions, you can review completed actions, implementation costs, estimated cost savings, estimated energy savings, and estimated CO2e savings at a program level.

Specify whether you have an action plan layer between your program and your actions. The action plan layer can be used as an additional grouping for your actions.

Note: Only an organization-level user can create a program.

For more information about the fields that are available when you create or edit a program, see Program fields.
