Product notifications
In IBM® ESG Suite, notifications about product updates are published on the Message board section of the home page.
When you see a notification, click 
to read more. When you have read the notification, click 
to permanently remove the
notification from your view. Typically, each notification is available for 4 weeks after it is
published.
Three types of notifications are used:
- System administration notifications:
- Provides details about system administration features. Visible only to system administrators.
Example:
- News:
- Notifications about new or enhanced features.
Example:
- Information notifications:
- Information about planned system outages for software and hardware maintenance that are outside
of regular maintenance windows.
Example:
