You can edit a meter from the Meters grid.

About this task

Be careful when editing a meter serial number should be done with care. Editing a meter serial number can disrupt the flow of data from the connector to the meter.

Changing the meter component should only be done for a meter that does not have any existing data. If a meter has existing data, changing the component will result in discrepancies between the historical data statistics and ongoing statistics, including energy and emissions calculations. Contact Envizi support if you need to change the component for a meter with existing data.

Procedure

  1. In the Meters grid, select a meter, and then click Actions > Edit Meter.
  2. In the Edit Meter dialog, make the required changes.
  3. Click Save to update the meter details.
