Assigning group managers
In IBM® Envizi ESG Suite, you can assign a contact as a manager of a group to give them access to that group’s data only.
About this task
When the user logs in to Envizi ESG Suite, the user can see data only for the groups that the user manages.
You can assign a contact as a manager of a group either when you create a login for a user, or later by using the Group Manager grid.
Note:
- A contact must be assigned the group access level to become a manager of a group.
- You can make a contact the group manager of any number of groups.
- A contact can be a manager of any level group. If you make a contact a manager of a top-level group in a group hierarchy, then they can see all the data for all locations in all groups within that hierarchy. If you make a contact a manager of the lowest level group in a group hierarchy, then they can see data only for locations in that group.
Procedure
- From the main menu, click .
- Select a group on the Groups grid and select Group Managers from the pop-up menu.
- On the Group Managers grid, click Create New.
- Select a contact from the list.
- Click Save.
