Connecting to GRESB by API

To authorize IBM® Envizi ESG Suite to connect to the GRESB API, register the Envizi ESG Suite application in your instance of GRESB.

About this task

A user with account manager access to the GRESB portal needs to do the following steps for each entity or fund for which you want to send GRESB responses from Envizi ESG Suite.

Procedure

  1. Log into GRESB and navigate to an entity or a fund.
  2. Under Real Estate, click the reporting entity’s name.
  3. Click Data Partner Access Rights.
  4. Click Grant Access to Data Partner Member.
  5. From the list, select Envizi Pty Ltd and click Grant Access.
  6. Record the Entity ID of your fund or group in Envizi ESG Suite:
    1. Navigate to the Entity page and identify the five digit Entity ID in the URL.
    2. Record the Entity ID in the Envizi ESG Suite GRESB Group Settings page.
  7. In the Envizi ESG Suite GRESB Group settings page, set the Reporting Group Active for GRESB API Sumissions flag to Active.

What to do next

If you have a new asset or location in Envizi ESG Suite that has never been submitted to GRESB before, go to the GRESB Asset Summary page and create the asset.
