Configuring GRESB location settings
Configure location settings in IBM® Envizi ESG Suite to report your GRESB data more efficiently. You can capture data for GRESB location settings either through location level forms, or more quickly at the group level through a grid.
Configuring location settings at the group level through grid capture
Use the grid capture feature, which includes common functions such as cut and paste, multi-select, multi-delete, and so on, to capture and edit location settings more quickly. Grid capture is based on Envizi survey functionality, where every row in the grid is a survey at a location level. So other users at any access level can capture data directly for a single location at the location level.
In the GRESB Location Settings grid, you can select your default reporting option, which ensures that new accounts that are added to Envizi report data according to your preferred building space. The settings will not apply to all accounts, but you can use them to cover most of your assets instead of having to tag every account individually. Then, handle the accounts that don’t match the settings by using a combination of locations settings and tags.
To configure the settings at a group level, in a group summary page, click GRESB Location Settings grid is displayed where you can fine-tune your reporting settings at an asset level.

When working at a location level, for example, in the GRESB Asset Summary page, you might occasionally need to check a setting or make a small update. Location-level forms are useful in these instances.
To access the forms, in a location summary page, click GRESB Location Settings page you can configure the same settings as in the grid at the group level, but only for a single location. Any updates are replicated between the grid and the individual location level view.
. In theExcluding accounts or meters from Whole Building Energy and Whole Building GHG reporting
If accounts or meters need to be excluded from reporting to GRESB, under relevant fuel types in
the Energy Whole Building section and GHG Whole Building section, they can be tagged using the
GRESB - Whole Building
tag with a 0% reporting percentage. Once tagged, the
consumption amount from the tagged account or meter will be excluded from both Energy and GHG Whole
Building reporting.
