The SRM Framework Upload Tool for custom frameworks in Sustainability Reporting Manager is
designed to help sustainability teams efficiently build and edit custom ESG frameworks in IBM®
Envizi ESG Suite. The tool is available to system administrators only and consists of two
sheets that are called the Question Builder and the Form Response Builder.
Before you use the tool, you must first create a custom framework in the framework library.
Follow the steps in Creating custom frameworks. Note: The upload templates work best
with Microsoft 365 or Excel 2019 and later, where the validation and
error-handling features work better.
About this task
As ESG reporting becomes more complex and customized across industries, organizations need tools
that simplify how disclosure frameworks are created and maintained. Using the capabilities of
Microsoft Excel, this tool allows bulk configuration of disclosure questions and
their corresponding response fields to minimize manual input and reduce room for error.
