Replicating a disclosure

When you replicate a disclosure in the Sustainability Reporting Manager, you create a new disclosure with the same properties and content as an existing one. This can save time and ensures consistency across similar reports.

About this task

When you replicate a disclosure, you create a new disclosure with the same properties as the original, including reporting boundary, reporting period, milestone dates, and default assignments. You can change these properties if needed.

Procedure

  1. On Sustainability Reporting Manager home page, find the disclosure you want to replicate. Each disclosure tile has a Copy button.
  2. Click the Copy button on the disclosure. Alternatively, you can open the disclosure, click Actions, and then click Copy.
  3. Enter a name for the replicated disclosure.
  4. Optional: If needed, adjust the existing properties, such as the boundary, question assignment, due dates, and reporting period.
  5. Click Save to create the new disclosure.

Results

The new disclosure will have the same questions, assignments, and responses as the original, but with the updated name and any modified properties. All statuses return to To Do. The history log starts with Response copied from another disclosure.

By following these steps, you can efficiently replicate disclosures, ensuring consistency and saving time in the preparation process.
