Capturing data based on a request
When you are an assignee for an account location, and you receive a request for data capture by email, you can open the issue and submit your data.
About this task
The input fields that you must complete depend on the account style that is associated with the account. For example, different fields are available depending on whether you are submitting electricity data or waste data.
For your account location, you receive a single email that consolidates data capture requests that are assigned to you. The email contains links to each data capture issue. Clicking a link brings you directly to the Issues Board or the Issue Detail page. You can access the Capture Data form from here.
Alternatively, if you have access, you can log in to IBM® Envizi ESG Suite, navigate to the Issue Tracking component, and open the Capture Data form.
All actions are captured in an activity list at the bottom of the issue for audit purposes.
Procedure
In the email that contains the consolidated data capture requests, you can open a specific issue, or open a Kanban board with all issues.
What to do next
Records are added to the Records grid.
