Applying a consolidation tag
The consolidation tag in IBM® Envizi ESG Suite is an important part of determining how much of your data is reported in dashboards and in PowerReports.
About this task
The primary tag type that is used for reporting is called the Consolidation tag type.
All accounts are considered to have a consolidation tag applied at 100% to them, even if no tags are configured.
If you want to exclude an account for reporting purposes, or capture only a portion of the account's data in reports and on dashboards, then you can apply a consolidation tag with a percentage from between 0%-100%.
To see a list of consolidation tags, from the main menu, click Tag Types grid to show the Consolidation tag.
. Filter theCustom tags can be also created which allow you to aggregate your data in other ways. Custom tags do not affect how consolidation tags work, but you can configure them to use in addition to consolidation tags. For more information, see Setting up custom tags.
To apply a consolidation tag to an account, complete these steps:
Procedure
- From the main menu, click Manage > Accounts to open the Accounts grid.
- Select one or more accounts and from the pop-up menu, click Tag Accounts.
- Select Consolidation as the tag type.
- Select Co2e and Base Measures as the tag.
- Specify the effective dates. These dates specify the time period that the tag applies to. Any date outside of this period is considered as a 100% consolidation, unless another tag is applied for the same time period.
- Specify the reporting percentage, which is the percentage of data that is returned when generating reports. If the value is set at 0, then the account or meter is excluded for all reporting on dashboards on PowerReports. By default, you cannot create a tag that has a time period that overlaps with an existing tag. However, you can bypass this setting.
- Click Tag Account(s).
