Performance dashboards

Several dashboards are available to monitor the environmental performance of your organization, groups, and locations.

On each dashboard, you select the view of environmental performance that you want to apply to the dashboard. Examples of units of measure that are available from the View drop-down list include emissions (t CO2e), energy (GJ), cost (USD), mass (kg), and volume (m3). If you select Energy (GJ), you can monitor the energy performance of your organization. Select from intensity measures from the By drop-down list such as energy production, production units, and floor area.

Types of dashboards

Performance dashboards include:
  • Performance. Monitor performance by aggregating, ranking, and proportioning data over a selected period.
  • Performance by Data Type: Monitor performance by aggregating, ranking, and proportioning data into data type views over a selected period.
  • Performance by Group. Monitor performance by aggregating, ranking, and proportioning data into group views over a selected period.
    Note:
    • When you open the Performance by Group dashboard from a classification or portfolio group level, the chart proportions data based on the sub groups immediately below the group in the group hierarchy.
    • When you open the Performance by Group dashboard from an organization level, the chart represents the classification sub groups that are immediately below the top-level classification groups in the hierarchy.
  • Performance Trend. Track performance tends over a range of periods, for example, years, 6 month periods, quarters, or months. Specify any number of months up to 12 months. If your administrator has set a baseline year for your organization, it is included as a point of reference in a trend analysis.
  • Energy production. Track performance of all data types that belong to the high level energy produced scope, which are excluded from other performance dashboards. The dashboard is similar to the performance dashboards and contains charts to track activity by data type, activity by period by data type, activity by group, activity by period and activity by location.
Note: This dashboard is available only to organizations that use the Energy Produced data types.
  • Emissions Performance. Monitor emissions over the selected time period. Drill into the emission levels for scope 1, scope 2, and scope 3 categories. For more information, see Emissions performance dashboard.
  • Performance by Scope. The dashboard shows emissions and GHG reductions broken down by scope. This dashboard also provides a monthly breakdown of emissions and lists the top 10 data types by quantity of emissions. For more information, see Performance by scope dashboard.

The data type name includes the primary measure or native reporting unit of that data type, for example, Diesel Stationary (L). Next, the name includes the unit of measure of the dashboard, for example, Energy (GJ). To aggregate and rank data types of different units of measure, the chart standardizes data to a common measure, for example, converts L (liters) to GJ (gigajoules).
