Configuring intensity targets

In IBM® Envizi ESG Suite, configure targets that are containers for intensity targets. Use intensity targets to track against intensity metrics that are configured by using the ratios feature. You can configure intensity targets against locations, groups, or the entire organization.

1. In Envizi ESG Suite, click Manage > Intensity Targets.
2. In the Intensity Targets grid, click Create New.
3. In the Create New dialog, complete the fields.
   The dialog includes the following fields:

   Target name

   A unique name that the client gives to a specific target. It's useful to include the associated year in the name, for example, Energy Intensity targets 2023.

   Description

   An optional description of the target.

   Target type

   Defaults to the standard intensity target.

   Set against

   A list of all the ratios that are configured. If you have not yet configured any ratios, the list is blank and you cannot create a target.

   Measured in

   Defaults to the unit of measure that you set for your ratio.

   Effective from

   The start date of the period that the target covers and the default start date that is used when you capture new target data into a target container.

   Effective to

   The end date of the period that the target covers and the default end date that is used when you capture new target data into a target container.

   Target status

   Indicates whether a target is active or inactive. Only active targets are displayed in the Rate Analysis dashboard, and the target data is accessed directly from live data and reflected immediately.

4. Click Save. The target is created and displayed in the grid.
