Tagging accrued data as estimation data in ESPM

You can configure the Tag Accruals as Estimation in ESPM setting to overwrite the default behavior of data that is sent from IBM® Envizi ESG Suite to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.

About this task

Data that is sent from Envizi ESG Suite to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager is by default considered to be actual data in ESPM. You can overwrite the default behavior by configuring the Tag Accruals as Estimation in ESPM setting, which has the options that are outlined in the following table:

Option Description
No Default behavior, where any consumption or cost data that is posted from Envizi ESG Suite to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager is considered as actual data in ESPM.
Yes - Tag monthly consumption or cost data with any number of days of accruals as Estimation in ESPM If at least one day of accrual data exists in Envizi ESG Suite for a given month, data that is sent from Envizi ESG Suite to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager for the month is tagged as Estimation in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.

Procedure

  • At an organization level, configure the Tag Accruals as Estimation in ESPM setting:
    1. In the Envizi ESG Suite user interface, click Admin > ENERGY STAR Settings.
    2. In the Tag Accruals as Estimation list, select the required option and then save.
    The selected option applies to all locations that are in the organization.
  • At a location level, configure the Tag Accruals as Estimation in ESPM setting:
    1. At a location, click Benchmark > ENERGY STAR Location Settings.
    2. In the Tag Accruals as Estimation list, select the required option and then save.
    Location level settings override organization level settings.
