Building a survey

The Envizi team builds surveys based on your requirements. You can request standard surveys or surveys with a scoring mechanism to perform comparisons.

Surveys are typically focused on qualitative measures but you can also request quantitative data. You can associate the quantitative answers with accounts and store the data in account records. Then, you can monitor the data on dashboards and in reports and see the data in the organization hierarchy. When you are designing a survey, consider the requirements of the reporting output that you need.

Each survey has the following components.
Start and end dates:
The time frame that the questions apply to.
Sections:
Organize related questions in separate sections. Each section has a title and either an introduction or instructions.
Questions:
The data types are text, number, picklists, multiple choice selection, date, or attachment.
Helper text:
Help that is displayed either when the user hovers over the question or is displayed as additional information with the question.

You can configure surveys so that the visibility of the question depends on the response to a related question.

You can validate the response to questions by using operators such as less than, greater than, and equal to. The comparison value is a fixed number or depends on the answer to a previous question. Validation can also include conditions. You can customize the error message that appears when validation fails. If a question has a validation rule and the response fails the validation, the response is not saved until the response is fixed and the validation passes.
