API access

With the IBM® ESG Suite REST APIs, you can run reports to retrieve data from the platform directly through compatible third-party software, such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI.

The APIs provide secure, remote consumption of data from Envizi ESG Suite. The APIs are built on the reporting framework of the platform. A selective list of Envizi ESG Suite reports are exposed to the APIs. Each report has progressed through a certification and validation process. With the Envizi ESG Suite APIs, you can retrieve data in a pre-defined tabular report format, which allows for further analysis and manipulation in your client tool.

In general, API reports in Envizi ESG Suite mimic the same reports that you can run from the Envizi ESG Suite user interface. You can specify the report data selection criteria by using the API similar to how you can specify the data selection criteria when you run the same report on the user interface.
