The report provides your organization with a view of the total electricity consumption, including renewables. The report includes both location-based emissions and market-based emissions:
Location-based emissions
Refers to the emissions from the electricity that you physical consume at your operations site or your business facility. Emissions are calculated based on the average emissions value of the local grid where you purchase your electricity. You do not factor in any green energy usage or renewable energy certificates into the calculation of emissions.
Market-based emissions
Refers to energy purchase agreements and contracts that your organization makes in the market, for example, the purchase of renewable energy certificates from a renewable energy provider.

  • Single base dataset for accessing all Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
  • Edit capabilities to include fields from all tables from the monthly dataset, and
  • Consistent dataset refresh times with the monthly dataset.
