Getting started with Dashboard Visualization
Complete these steps to monitor your points of interest and assets from around the world from Dashboard Visualization.

Log in to
Environmental Intelligence Suite at the following URL: https://environmentalintelligencesuite.ibm.com. Use your IBMid to log in.
- From the side menu, choose Dashboard
visualizations > Summary. You'll see an alert summary of all of your points of interest from around the world.
- Open a dashboard by using either of these steps:
- Click a location on the Summary page to open a dashboard.
- From the side menu, choose Dashboard visualizations > Dashboard.
- From the side menu, choose Dashboard
visualizations > Dashboard. Select a dashboard from the list.
- Create a custom dashboard. From the dashboard menu, choose Create new
dashboard to open the dashboard editor.
- Select an existing dashboard as a starting point or select Blank dashboard.
- Set the dashboard location. You can enter one of the following combinations:
- City, state
- City, country
- Zipcode
- Latitude and longitude
You might specify Boston, MA, or Paris, France, or-33.8698439,151.2082848. - Assign a name to the dashboard.
- Set its time range. Select one of the following options:
- Active
- Monitor locations every day of the year. Active dashboards are included in your usage calculation.
- Inactive
- No monitoring of locations. Inactive dashboards are excluded from your usage calculation.
- Custom range
- Active during a custom time period. When active, the dashboards are included in your usage calculation.
- Assign people to the dashboard. Assign read-only access or editing permissions. Choose whether to send email notifications for alerts in addition to giving access to the dashboard.
- Click Create.
- Add panels to the dashboard. Click Add panel.
- From the side menu, choose Dashboard
visualizations > Interactive map to monitor your
service area from the map. Click
to apply layers and overlays to the
