Adding assets

Integrate Environmental Intelligence Suite with IBM Maximo Asset Management to monitor your assets and locations alongside your weather, environmental, and geospatial data on the interactive map.

Assets on the map

After you import the assets, the collections of assets are available as overlays on the Assets tab, which is shown in Figure 1, in the Map layers and overlays dialog.

You can select an asset on the map to view its details. The tooltip that is shown in Figure 2 provides information about the asset and provides a link to the corresponding asset or location in Maximo Asset Management.

If you need to take action based on the current or forecasted weather condition, open the asset in Maximo Asset Management, where you can open a service request.
