Weather Data APIs
With Environmental Intelligence Suite, you get access to a rich set of weather data sources with current weather conditions, daily forecasts, accurate hourly forecasts, real-time alerts, and historical weather data. With an API key, you can make weather data API calls by using open API standards. You can also integrate the APIs with applications and business processes to make actionable, data-driven decisions.
IBM Cleaned Historical APIs
The method which may be used to access the global data sets programmatically is via a REST web services data request. First, establish an account where a unique key will be created and provided. You may have multiple accounts. Each key is configured to allow up to X number of calls per year which was discussed and agreed upon in conversations with your account manager. The definition of a call is noted below.

The visualizations are augmented by decision support service as part of the Environmental Intelligence Suite dashboards. The dashboards and geospatial visualizations are designed to support any business that is impacted by the disruptive nature of weather, but might lack the data science, tools, or meteorological expertise to mitigate the impacts to efficiency, safety, and profitability. From the dashboard, you can monitor the weather parameters that matter to you, and set alerts that notify you when critical thresholds have been or will be exceeded.
