Environmental Intelligence Suite is a cloud-based climate and sustainability platform that combines proprietary and third party geospatial, weather, environment, and IoT data to derive business insights. You can monitor the status and performance of assets and service locations by using dashboards, maps, charts, and alerts.

Components

IBM Environmental Intelligence Suite contains the following components:

Dashboard Visualization: Provides weather visualizations for your service areas on dashboards and on an interactive map.
Geospatial Analytics: Provides a store of geospatial-temporal data and an analytics engine for conducting complex and fast queries to reveal key relationships between the layers of data.
Weather Data APIs: Provides APIs packages for querying current and forecasted conditions, seasonal and subseasonal forecasts, lifestyle indices, severe weather, and historical weather for analysis.
Alerting: Monitors your service locations for predefined weather events and sends messages to registered users to alert them about the events. You can send notifications to an HTTP endpoint or an email address, or both. You can also display weather alerts in the Action center.
Carbon Performance Engine: Helps your enterprise to operate sustainably. By using the Carbon Accounting APIs, you can manage your internal and your supply chain emissions.

Monitoring Services: Provides access to current weather observations and forecasts for airports and a Risk outlook view for analysis and planning.
Vegetation Management: Uses geospatial data and analytics to assess the state of vegetation and its proximity to your assets. Identify the high-risk circuits or corridors that might be impacted by vegetation overgrowth.
Outage Prediction: Predicts power outages and infrastructure damage that are caused by weather conditions in advance by using machine-learning predictive models.
