Power Enterprise Pools 2.0 - How to request a Cloud Management Console (CMC) instance and support

All Power Enterprise Pools management activity, once the pool ID has been created in ESS, is done through Cloud Management Console (CMC).

CMC is an online tool, which you need to get set up by performing the following steps:

  1. Complete the CMC activation form found here
  2. Send the form to the following email address: support@ibmcmc.zendesk.com

The needed information to complete the form is available in ESS and a screenshot can be attached to the request:

  1. Go to Inventory Explorer application, open Software maintenance tab and click the Active/Shipped button.
  2. Find eligible products which provide the needed entitlement and include them in the request form. You can access the full list in Power Enterprise Pools 2.0 - Cloud Management Console - How does subscription and entitlement work
  3. Once processed, CMC helpdesk team provides you with your CMC instance link.
