Viewing the Java logs
Enterprise Records provides logging capabilities for issue tracking, error tracking and troubleshooting, and auditing or process tracking.
The Enterprise Records system logs are written as text files in the
profile_name subdirectory under the current working
directory of the deployed application. By default, the files are located in the following directories:
- For on-premises installation
- WebSphere Application Server: install_root/profiles/profile_name
- For container, in Task Manager
- WebSphere Application Liberty Server: /opt/ibm/wlp/usr/servers/defaultServer
The log files are named as follows:
- Enterprise Records 5.2.1 fix pack 6 (5.2.1.6) and later

- Advance Sweep: <task_number>_DispositionSweepActivity.txt
- Basic or FCD Sweep: task_<task_number>_p8_DDCP_log.txt
- Hold Sweep: <task_number>_HoldSweepActivity
- Basic or FCD Sweep Trace file: task_<task_number>_p8_DDCP_trace.txt
