Security settings for objects
Each object in an object store has default security settings assigned by the Security Script wizard. These settings are for inherited folder security and directly applied object security.
When an IBM® Enterprise Records object
is created, the security settings are defined in the following ways:
- The default instance security defines the initial security assigned to newly created class objects. Use the Security Script wizard from the IBM Enterprise Records administration client to set the default instance security for all objects.
- Security is inherited from the folder in which the object is created.
- Security is applied directly to the object.
