You can use the Administration page in the web client to
enable distributed source control, so that you can deliver changes
between repositories. You must enable distributed source control properties
on the server for each repository. You must also enable permissions
on each project area that governs components that you want to replicate.
Before you begin
You must be logged in to the Administration page of the Jazz
Team Server or the Administration page of an application that is registered
with the Jazz® Team Server.
In either case, you must be a member of the JazzAdmins repository
group to have administrative access to enable distributed source control.
Procedure
- To enable distributed source control:
- On the Administration page for
the server, click the Application tab.
- In the left pane, under Configuration,
click Advanced Properties.
- On the Advanced Properties page,
in the SCM area, set the Enable Distributed
SCM property to true.
- Click Save.
- Repeat step 1 for
each server.
- To enable replication permissions
for the set of roles that are applicable:
- On the Administration page, click
the Project Areas tab.
- On the Active Project Areas page,
click the project.
- On the Project page, click the Permissions tab.
- In the Configuration pane, click Team
Configuration.
- In the Permitted Actions pane,
expand Source Control and select Replicate
change sets.
- Click Save.
- Repeat step 2 for each project
area that governs components that you want to replicate.
