Administrator-managed default email formatting

Administrators can now control the default email format for all users by configuring the Jazz® Team Server advanced property Format Email Message in HTML.

• The default value is false. In this case, the system uses each user’s email format preference from their profile settings.
• When administrators set the property to true, the system sends email messages in HTML format by default for all users, regardless of individual profile preferences.
• When administrators set the property back to false, the system reverts to using each user’s profile-level email format preference.

Autoformat text in work items with Markdown

You can now use Markdown to autoformat text in work items, using the syntax in the table below to autoformat text:

Configure tab and section visibility based on work item state

You can now hide specific tabs and sections in the Work Item Editor based on the work item's state. This simplifies the editor by removing irrelevant details at each stage of the workflow. It also creates a more guided and intuitive experience by displaying the right information at the right time.

Inline tables now support resizable columns

You can drag the column‑header separators to adjust column widths in inline tables within work item description and large HTML fields, making it easier to display your content effectively. For more information, see Description box in web client.

Add todo lists to work item descriptions and large HTML fields

You can now add a todo list with interactive checkboxes and labels to work item descriptions and large HTML fields. Use the Todo List icon in the rich-text toolbar or use the available keyboard shortcuts. For more information, see Description box in web client.
