Source control command line reference
Engineering Workflow Management source control includes a command line interface that provides flexible, scriptable access to essential Engineering Workflow Management source control operations from any command shell.
ClearCase Synchronizer subcommands
The ClearCase® Synchronizer includes a specialized set of subcommands for the Engineering Workflow Management source control command line tools.
Subcommand exit codes
Engineering Workflow Management source control commands set an exit status to indicate success or failure, and provide additional information to the caller.
On Properties
There are six supported properties: jazz.executable, jazz.mime, jazz.line-delimiter, jazz.read-access, jazz.encoding, and local.encoding.
preferences.properties file
Properties for the scm command line client can be controlled through the preferences.properties file. By default, the file resides in user home dir/.jazz-scm, but other locations can be specified by setting scm –config /path/to/other/location.
Enabling default logging
You can enable default logging for the command-line interface.
z/OS source control command line reference
The z/OS® command line interface provides the same flexible, scriptable access to essential Engineering Workflow Management operations as the Engineering Workflow Management command line interface, and from any command shell, but it offers additional features that are unique to running the SCM command line on z/OS. SCM commands that are supported only by z/OS include create dataset, list dataset definitions, zload, and zimport. The zimport command is also supported by the lightweight SCM (LSCM) environment.
Work item Email notification template syntax
By using templates, you can customize the content of Email messages that are sent to users to notify them of changes to work items.

Use quick query syntax to find, filter, and colorize work items in a plan; use wiki syntax for formatting text.
Operation preconditions and follow-up actions
You can modify the behavior for operations in a project area or team area by defining preconditions and follow-up actions that are required for individual operations. Preconditions are conditions that must be met before an operation can be completed. Follow-up actions are events that are generated, like work items that are created, when the operation is completed.
Windows preferences for the Engineering Workflow Management client for Eclipse IDE
