Ranking all work items in a plan

You can apply rank to all work items in a plan on the Planned Items tab.

Procedure

  1. On the Planned Items tab, click the Apply Rank icon (Apply Rank icon).
  2. Click Save.

    Plan items that are ranked are with the Apply New Rank feature.

    All work items are ranked in ascending order. In the plan ranking
    • ascending order means that the items are ordered starting with the least important items and ascending to the most important items. For example, … 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
    • descending order means that the items are ordered starting with the most important items and descending to the least important items. For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...
    You can change the ranking order by clicking the column heading. Note that the arrow beside the column heading changes direction:
    • Rank ascending icon: Rank ascending icon
    • Rank descending icon: Rank ascending icon
    Note: If work items that are filtered from the plan are already ranked with other methods, clicking the Apply Rank icon (Apply Rank icon) removes the ranking from those work items.
