Creating or selecting a repository workspace

You can either create a repository workspace for the selected repository connection or select an existing repository workspace.

Before you begin

You must be logged in to a repository connection and connected to a project area before you can access repository workspaces.

Procedure

  1. In the Engineering Workflow Management Primary Option Menu, enter a 2 on the Option line and press the Enter key.
  2. On the Repository Workspaces panel, to connect to an existing repository workspace, enter a forward slash (/) next to the workspace and press the Enter key. Otherwise, to create a repository workspace, enter a name for the repository workspace and press the Enter key.
    1. On the New Repository Workspace panel, provide a description of the workspace.
    2. On the New Repository Workspace panel, enter a number for the level of the visibility for the workspace, which determines who can see the workspace.
      1 - Public
      Everyone with access to the repository is able to see the files and change sets in all public components in this workspace.
      2 - Private
      The owner is the only person with read access to the repository workspace. However, change sets in the public components are visible to others.
      3 - Scoped
      Everyone with read access in the connected project area can see the files and contents in public components in this workspace.
    3. Enter a forward slash (/) next to the stream to which to flow the changes that you make, and press the Enter key.
    4. Enter a forward slash (/) next to all of the components to add to the workspace and press the Enter key.
