You can restrict resources from being checked-in to Engineering Workflow
Management source
control by ignoring the resource.
About this task
The list of resources that source control ignores is in the
.jazzignore file. This file is usually in the top-level folder of the project,
but can be placed in any subfolder. By default, Engineering Workflow
Management source
control ignores a few predefined patterns. You can add more patterns to ignore.
Procedure
- In the Pending Changes view, right-click
a resource; then click Add to Ignore List.
- In the Add to Ignore List window,
select whether to ignore the resource by its name, file extension,
or pattern. You can also select whether to ignore the resource in
its current local directory or in the directory hierarchy.
- Click OK.
Tip: To select resources to ignore from a Windows Explorer window,
navigate to the resource in your sandbox. Right-click the resource; then click
.
