Moving solutions to other components

You can move a solution to another component of your workspace without disrupting the history of the solution.

Before you begin

Before moving a solution, you must suspend, complete, or deliver any open change sets in both source and target component.

1. In the Solution Explorer window, right-click a solution and click Move in Repository Workspace.
2. Select a target component, where you want to move the solution, and click OK.

What to do next

When the move is complete, outgoing change sets are created in the source and target components. Deliver the change sets to move the project in workspace flow targets.
