Moving files or folders in Advanced mode

You can move files or folders in the Jazz® repository. You can select multiple files or folders and move them. You can also move files or folders that are in any of the modified states, such as unresolved, checked in, or in a state of conflict.

• To move a top-level folder to a different component, complete the following steps:
  1. In Windows Explorer, right-click a top-level folder; then click Engineering Workflow Management > Move.
  2. In the Select a component window, select a destination component and click OK. The history is preserved.
• To move either a filer or a folder that is not a top-level folder, complete the following steps:
  1. In Windows Explorer, right-click a file or folder; then click Engineering Workflow Management > Move.
  2. In the Move File or Folder window, select the destination folder and click OK.
