You can compare a resource with its repository version to view the differences between them.

Comparing resources with repository versions
You compare repository files to view the differences between two versions of a file and to reconcile conflicting changes that are made by the team members. You can compare a repository file with its immediate predecessor version in the repository workspace or compare a repository file with its copy in the sandbox.
Comparing workspaces and streams
You can compare the differences between a workspace and a stream. You can also compare a workspace with another workspace or a stream with another stream.

You can compare the change sets in the baselines for the component.
