Viewing annotations

You can display an annotated view of any file in the repository. Annotations display who made changes, when the changes were made, and any comments or work items that are associated with the changes.

• • In the Solution Explorer window, right-click on a file; then click Annotate. You can also display annotations from other windows, such as the Sandbox Explorer window and History window.
• Optional: To view the history of a change, in the file editor, in the left margin, click a colored line marker. The corresponding change is highlighted in the History view. Hover over the colored line marker to view additional information about the change.
