Locking repository files

You can use the web client to lock a repository file in a specific stream, so that other users cannot modify the file.

1. On the Welcome to Source Control page, navigate to the stream, component, and folder that contains the file that you want to lock.
2. Next to the file, click Lock. To unlock the file, click Unlock.
   Note: To view locked resources by owner, click Source Control > Locks. On the Locks page, use the Select an owner and filter fields to search for locked resources.

   Tip: To unlock a folder, in the Eclipse client click Search > Jazz Source Control > Locks and search for the folder. In the search results, right-click the folder; then click Unlock.
