Editing baselines, components, or snapshots

You can use the web client to edit baselines, components, or snapshots.

1. On the Welcome to Source Control page, navigate to the baseline, component, or snapshot that you want to edit.
2. Click in the baseline, component, or snapshot to edit the information:
   

   • In your baseline, you can edit the Name and Description fields.
   • In your snapshot, you can edit the Name and Description fields.
   • In your component, you can edit the Name, Owned by, and Visibility fields.
3. Click Save.
4. You are also able to replace a component in a workspace or stream. In the Components section of the editor, click the Replace icon in the Actions column for the component that you want to replace:
