similar, or duplicate, work items.

- Open the work item editor to edit an existing item or create
a new one.

list of potential duplicate work items is displayed in the query results
table.

work item exists. If so, complete one of the following steps.
- Cancel the current work item.
- Close the current item as a duplicate of the other item.

and click Duplicate Of to link to the other
work item.
- On the Overview tab, set the state transition
to Resolved and set the Resolution to Duplicate.
- Close the other work item as a duplicate of this item.
- Click the Links tab, expand the Add menu,
and click Duplicated By to link to the other
work item.
- On the Overview tab, set the state transition
to Resolved and set the Resolution to Duplicate.
