Enabling live logging for your build

The Live Logging tab in your dependency build definition allows you to set whether the dependency build is enabled for live logging and the severity level of the build progress messages to receive.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have set up the connection between your CCM application and an MQTT broker. For more information, see Setting up your deployment for live logging. If you enable live logging without setting the connection, you will see a warning in the configuration editor. Live logging will not work until you properly set up the connection.

Procedure

  1. Click Live Logging to switch to the tab.
  2. Select the Enable live logging for the build check box.
  3. From the drop-down list under Set the level of messages to log, select the level of messages that you want to display in Live Logging.
    The default value is VERBOSE.
