Running manual tests with automated keywords

You can add automation to manual tests through the use of keywords. You can run keyword-enabled manual tests just like you would run any other test case execution record in Engineering Test Management.

About this task

You automate a keyword by associating it with an automated test script. Therefore, keyword-enabled manual tests require Rational® Automation Framework for test execution.

When you run a keyword-enabled manual test script, you must choose a test adapter, such as the IBM DevOps Test UI adapter or the HCL Security AppScan Tester edition adapter, to run the automated keyword.
