Setting up STAX tasks

Software Testing Automation Framework Execution Engine (STAX) uses task definitions in the form of XML documents. These definitions allow you to specify the processes and Software Testing Automation Framework (STAF) commands necessary to perform the tasks. STAX provides a wealth of expressive functionality in addition to these definitions, which makes it easy to implement, manage, track, and monitor your jobs. In this topic you set up the framework for STAX tasks.

Procedure

  1. Copy STAX XML files to the staxPath configured in integration_config.xml.
  2. Create a folder structure that clarifies the tasks by categories.
