Using artifact filters

You can filter a list of test artifacts by limiting the list to those that belong to another test artifact. For example, you can limit a list of test cases to those that belong to one or several test plans. Artifact filters are available in both the sidebar and the main table view.

1. Open a view that displays a list of test artifacts.

   For example, to view test cases, click Construction > Browse > Test Cases.

2. Click the window sash along the left border of the main window to open the filters sidebar.
3. In the Filter by Test Plans section, select one or more test plans.
   If you have enabled configuration management, filtering of Change management items that are associated with the test case will not work in the table view.

   The list of test cases is limited to those belonging to the selected test plans.

4. To remove the filter and redisplay all of the test artifacts, click the Clear Selected Filter icon () icon.
5. At any time, you can close the filters sidebar by clicking the window sash between the sidebar and the main window.
