Milestone 6
This milestone contains only quality improvements.
Milestone 4
- Improved execution order management in Test Suites
-
- The Execution Order column is now editable inline. When you modify the
execution order of a test case:
- The test case is inserted at the specified position.
- All subsequent test cases are automatically shifted down to maintain sequential ordering.
- Execution order values remain unique and consistent.
- You can now filter test cases by one or multiple columns simultaneously in the Test Cases section of an Engineering Test Management Test Suite. The filtering behavior follows your preference to show filtering options when a list view is opened. All sortable columns in the Test Cases list now support sorting, making it easier to organize your test cases.
- The Move Up and Move Down row-level actions have been removed to streamline the interface.
For more information, see Test suite execution workflow and Creating test suites.
- The Execution Order column is now editable inline. When you modify the
execution order of a test case:
- Custom attribute and category column support in test case section of test suite
- You can add test case attributes and categories as columns in the test case section of a test
suite to view, sort, and filter test cases by their attribute and category values. The test suite
interface now supports custom attribute and category columns, allowing you to customize your view of
test cases based on the attributes and categories most relevant to your work. Both project-specific
test case attributes and categories, as well as global attributes and categories, are available as
column options. Attribute and category columns provide the following capabilities:
- Display attribute and category values for each test case in the list
- Sort test cases by attribute or category values in ascending or descending order
- Filter test cases using one or multiple attribute or category columns
Attribute and category data in the columns is read-only. To modify attribute or category values, edit the test case properties. For more information, see Creating manual test scripts.
Milestone 3
- Estimate field for test scripts
-
You can now add and manage an Estimate (duration) field for test scripts to help with planning and tracking test execution time. The Estimate field is available throughout the test script lifecycle, from creation and editing to reporting and export.
The following capabilities are available:
- The Test Script Editor displays the Estimate (duration) field in the Summary section. You can set or edit the Estimate field when creating or editing a test script.
- The Estimate column is visible in the Test Script list view and can be used for filtering.
- You can edit the Estimate field inline for a single test script directly in the list view.
- Bulk edit support allows you to update the Estimate field for multiple test scripts simultaneously.
- The Estimate field is displayed in the OSLC compact rich hover in the list view.
- PDF exports from the Test Script Editor and Test Script list view include the Estimate field.
- CSV exports from the Test Script list view include the Estimate field.
- Public REST APIs, support query and set operations for the Estimate field.
- JRS/LQE reporting and Publishing reporting support using and displaying the Estimate field for test scripts.
