Integrating with HCL AppScan

You can integrate IBM® Engineering Test Management with HCL AppScan Tester Edition and HCL AppScan Enterprise.

The integrations with the two HCL Security AppScan editions are separate and provide different benefits.

When integrating with HCL AppScan, you create and run tests in it. You then view any resulting defects in Engineering Test Management. For more information, see the HCL AppScan documentation for your product version.

When integrating with HCL AppScan Tester Edition, you create test scripts that run HCL AppScan jobs and then view the results in Engineering Test Management. For example, you can include Web application security tests in your workflow and run them from HCL AppScan Enterprise Tester Edition. For more information, see the topics in this help system and Integrating with Engineering Test Management in the HCL AppScan documentation.

Prerequisite: Make sure that the Engineering Test Management server is up and running.
